Yolanda Mendivil

Yolanda Mendivil passed away in her home on September 25, 2022, at the age of 66, surrounded by her family and friends.

Yolanda is preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank Mendivil and most recently her mother Margarita Alvarez Lozano.

She is survived by her four sons Terrance Godinez (Erika Carrera), William Joshua Godinez (Crystal Godinez), Jason Godinez (Andrea Moreno) and Jacob Mendivil (Linda Mendivil). She was the grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, with another great grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her father, Jose Manuel “Chepe” Alvarez, and her siblings Leeann Wagner (Jerry Wagner), Jose Manuel “Joey” Alvarez Jr. (Lisa Alvarez), Raymond Alvarez (Carol Alvarez), and Ade Lopez as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her tremendously.

Yolanda will always be known for her strong character and assertive personality. She will forever be remembered as an individual who had the ability to weave her way into the hearts of many and became an adored friend and confidant.

Although our hearts are broken over the loss of a strong, beautiful and amazing woman and mother; we are certain you are reunited with Frank in God’s Kingdom.
