It is with deep regret that we announce that our beloved sister Maria del Carmen Hernandez Navarro passed peacefully, with her dearest children and grandchildren by her side in her home of Rio Rico, Arizona, on August 26, 2024. "Carmen", as everyone called her, was born on November 13, 1951, and raised in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. She was very well known for her generous heart and lively personality. She was one to always make everyone feel at ease as she was very cheery and optimistic. In her earlier years, she was a beautiful and active volleyball player. Not to mention, she had a very talented voice and a love for singing, which she passed on to her treasured children and now grandchildren. She will always be remembered for being so welcoming and hospitable by all her family and friends. May she rest in peace with her parents, son, and husband who await her in paradise. She is predeceased by her son, David Hernandez (October 2023), and her husband, Ramon "Mony" Hernandez (April 2024). She is survived by two sisters (Cecilia Navarro, Sandra Navarro de Armenta) and one brother (Jesus Navarro), two sons: Christian A. Hernandez and Pablo A. Hernandez (Leslie A. Barba), respectively. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren who she adored: Shantel Hernandez, Brianna Hernandez, Pablo Hernandez Jr., Aaron Hernandez, Paulina Hernandez, Christian Hernandez Jr., AnaSofia Hernandez
Con profundo pesar anunciamos que nuestra querida hermana María del Carmen Hernández Navarro falleció en paz, con sus queridos hijos y nietos a su lado en su hogar de Río Rico, Arizona, el 26 de agosto de 2024. «Carmen», como todos la llamaban, nació el 13 de noviembre de 1951 y creció en Nogales, Sonora, México. Era muy conocida por su corazón generoso y su personalidad vivaz. Siempre hacía que todo el mundo se sintiera a gusto, ya que era muy alegre y optimista. En sus primeros años, fue una hermosa y activa jugadora de voleibol. Además, tenía una voz muy talentosa y le encantaba cantar, algo que transmitió a sus queridos hijos y ahora nietos. Siempre será recordada por ser tan acogedora y hospitalaria por toda su familia y amigos. Que descanse en paz junto a sus padres, hijo y esposo que la esperan en el paraíso. Le han precedido su hijo, David Hernández (octubre de 2023), y su marido, Ramón «Mony» Hernández (abril de 2024). Le sobreviven dos hermanas (Cecilia Navarro, Sandra Navarro de Armenta) y un hermano (Jesús Navarro), dos hijos: Christian A. Hernández y Pablo A. Hernández (Leslie A. Barba), respectivamente.
