Luz Alicia Arana was born on September 11, 1928. She passed away peacefully on September 4, 2022 at 93 years old. She loved to take photographs of her friends and family as a young girl and worked in a photo shop as one of her first jobs. She graduated from Nogales High School and continued to work at G.A.C. Produce for most of her career where she earned her nickname "Frankie". Her bold personal style mirrored her hard work and accountability. Her favorite show was the Golden Girls and loved to sing. She was a devoted daughter to her mother, a devoted sister to her brother, a devoted aunt to her nieces and nephews and a devoted friend. She was selfless and loving to all those around her. Simply put, she was generous in every way. Luz can be described as caring, organized, ambitious, disciplined, driven and graceful. She lived a long beautiful life and will now be resting next to her Mother Esther and Brother Francisco, where she always wanted to be. She is at home now once again. She will be missed and the impact she had on those still here is immeasurable.
