Dora Calza, a loving mother and grandmother, peacefully passed away on January 1, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family in Rio Rico, Arizona. Born on March 23, 1933, in Imuris, Sonora, Mexico, she embraced life with warmth and kindness that left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Dora's life was a tapestry woven with love and devotion. As a mother, her nurturing spirit shaped the lives of her children, Pedro A. Calza, Sylvia C. Montanez, Dora A. Calza-Guerrero, Gerardo Calza, Santiago Calza, and Sergio Calza, each of whom carries a piece of her heart within their own. She delighted in the joy brought by her 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Dora was known for her unwavering support, wise counsel, and a smile that could brighten even the darkest of days.

Her journey led her to various milestones, each accompanied by cherished moments with family and friends. As she settled in Arizona, her home became a welcoming haven, filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable family gatherings. The legacy of Dora Calza will be celebrated on January 3, 2025, with a Mass at Sacred Heart Parish in Nogales, Arizona, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by visitation at Adair's Carroon Mortuary from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM. These services will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together, sharing stories and memories that reflect her beautiful spirit.
